ANALOGUE ADVISOR

Tim Bern is the maker behind Hands on Tone, the four racks (32 channels) of hand-built analogue gear at the heart of Studio B. Chasing the sound of classic records by recreating circuits behind Neve, Pultec, 1176, tape and tube saturators and more, he built the modules himself and set them up to run straight into the DAW to match the speed of digital workflow. He is on the Studio B team to assist, and brings a real curiosity about the intersection of raw performance, tone and electronics.
