29.7.10: Pop-punkers MxPx played their final gig with their original drummer last Sunday.

After playing together for 18 years, the three-piece played a killer show that celebrated a massive career; which has seen them sell nearly 2.5 million records and become a major force of early pop-punk.

Drummer Yuri Ruley drummed his final beats with MxPx at a sold-out show in Las Vegas. The band played their entire album LIFE IN GENERAL live, which included their breakthrough hit ‘Chick Magnet’.

Frontman and bassist Mike Herrera is now the only remaining MxPx member. He will continue to play shows with the band’s long-time guitarist Tom Wisniewski, and new drummer Chris Wilson will join the fold.
