27.7.10: The Ember Days have been busy touring the U.S. for the past year-and-a-half, and they’ve just announced they’ll make their NZ homecoming in October.

Frontman Jason Belcher says, “We are coming back and doing a worship tour of New Zealand... We have some new members we would love to introduce to New Zealand, and we’re going to be touring with a number of different bands including Tokyo Keys.”

The Ember Days have had a couple of line-up changes over the past year, and recently found two new members: Logan MacKenzie and Jedidiah Lachman.

Belcher says Mackenzie, “Is an amazing guitar player who has played in a number of New Zealand bands and has been an amazing asset to both our writing and playing.”

And the band’s new bassist Lachman is an American; Belcher adds, “He is a very gifted musician, and is very excited to come and be a part of our New Zealand tour and spend some time in our kiwi culture.”
