5.2.10: Musos, we hope you had a great time at Parachute 2010 and managed to get along to some of the Noise workshops we had on offer throughout the weekend…

Highlights included:
- Hearing songwriting gems from Switchfoot’s Jon Foreman.
- The Mainstream industry Panel with Universal Music Director Adam Holt and A&R Manager Scott Maclachlan, plus NZ on Air’s Tania Dean. Your curly questions about making it in the secular industry went down a treat.
- The Noise venue was well and truly packed for our first session: songwriting with Aaron Gillespie (Underoath), Solomon Olds (Family Force 5), Bradley Hathaway and Ruby Frost.
- Our Guitar clinic with Drew Shirley (Switchfoot), Timothy McTague (Underoath), and Daniel Huddleston (Falling Up) was also jammed full of budding guitarists.
