ABOUT PARACHUTE FESTIVAL

Since it first began in 1991, Parachute Festival has become an icon of the Kiwi summer: now drawing crowds of 25,000, hosting a giant tent city, and attracting the attention of major New Zealand media. Each January it takes over Mystery Creek Events Centre (Hamilton) with over 150 local and international acts performing across six stages. And there’s everything from hardcore to hip hop, to electronica… to alt-country.

The drug and alcohol free event promotes Christian values and also offers a wide range of entertainment alongside the rock n’ roll – amusement rides, seminars, a skate park, programs for kids and pre-teens, and market shopping are all on show. Click here to enter our official Festival website.
