U.S. psych-pop artist Toro Y Moi has just released a brand new song as part of a project that’s protesting Donald Trump’s new administration.
‘Omaha’ is a sunny pop ballad, released as part of the ‘Our First 100 Days’ project; a collection of 100 rare and previously unreleased songs that artists are sharing over on Bandcamp. Supporters can sign up to access one new song per day for $30, with all proceeds going to organisations on the front lines of climate change activism, women’s rights and immigration.
Artists sharing their musical creations include Angel Olsen, How To Dress Well and Avey Tare.
We’re just glad to hear some solid new music from Toro Y Moi. ‘Omaha’ has tasty slide guitars, 60s-style crisp drums, and a groove that’ll make you want to have it on repeat.
