Sigur Rós Share Two New Tunes

Icelandic magic-makers Sigur Rós have just released two brand new songs, as part of the soundtrack for sci-fi TV series ‘Black Mirror’.

Called ‘Match’ and ‘End’, the songs are both sparsely brooding and atmospheric, and capture the dark feeling of the show perfectly.

Producer Alex Somers created the rest of the show’s soundtrack; and he’s no stranger to working with Sigur Rós. Somers co-produced the band’s last two albums ‘Valtari’ and ‘Kveikur’, and he’s also worked with Sigur Rós frontman Jónsi on a number of projects.

Sigur Rós haven’t announced when they’re releasing their long-awaited eighth studio album yet, but check out their last single ‘Óveður’ here if you haven’t already. The tune was released back in 2016, so here’s hoping they make plenty more music in 2018.
