Salvation Mountain

Salvation Mountain is one of those things you have to see to believe. It is a 50 ft high folk-art installation in the middle of the Californian desert, created by one man: Leonard Knight. Knight devoted 25 years of his life to building the monument out of trash, clay and thousands of gallons of colourful paint. He worked on Salvation Mountain until his death in 2014, sharing his faith with thousands of visitors.
