Paramore Release Video For ‘Rose-Colored Boy’

Paramore have released a music video for their latest single ‘Rose-Colored Boy’, and it’s an incredible 80’s throwback.

Directed by Warren Fu, the clip shows the trio as All-American news anchors, fake-smiling through their retro TV studio with desperation.

Lead singer Hayley Williams’ hair is coiffed to perfection, and the trio nail the sheen (and humour) of being a dream news team, until cracks begin to show.

It’s arguably the best video from Paramore’s most recent album ‘After Laughter’. While it’s perfectly light-hearted and fun, it shows the band exactly where they’re at.

Their recent material is all about casting off the facade and embracing the crisis; and the clip’s hilarious 80’s vibe matches them to a tee sonically.
