The world is moving way too fast, you guys - can we all just stop and take a minute to appreciate some golden tunes from our own backyard? Here are a few we've found lately - enjoy.
CASS: 'Do You'
With strong ties to Christchurch's Majestic collective, you already know that electro R&B newcomer CASS is going to be dropping quality. Boasting a soaring vocal and world class left-leaning production, a quick listen to new track 'Do You' could easily be read for an international banger - probably only a matter of time, to be honest.

Daily-J: 'Sunny Days'
Originally hailing from Blenheim, laid-back trio Daily-J had a past life as Song Grant winners The Gap, combining eclectic influences that range from Sticky Fingers to Fat Freddy's Drop and Mac Demarco. With a new name, and now based in Auckland, Daily-J continues to bring the sounds of summer, with saxophone, reggae-style guitars, and frontman Jayden Paul's distinctive vocals.
Keep an eye on these guys - they'll be stocking up your summer roadtrip playlist.

Fends: 'Moon Landing'
Fends is another outfit born out of a prior band - this time it's the gentlemen behind the alt-rock outfit Shift. Fends sees the guitar-slinging take a back seat to a more electronic, groovy sound. They've just dropped a couple of tracks off of their upcoming 'Moon Landing' EP, which you can jam on Spotify below:
