LaDonnis: ‘Touch’

Atlanta rapper LaDonnis has released his latest tune, which he worked on with Kiwi producer Sam McCarthy (BOYBOY).

‘Touch’ is a funky jam, that deals with the pain of being in a one-sided relationship lacking in communication. The rapper sings softly in the choruses about losing touch with someone who can’t even be bothered to text him back.

The bassline grooves along nicely, as a female backing vocalist delivers the repetitive hook that hangs the song together. It’s slick and clean, with plenty of attitude and bounce.

LaDonnis recently described his sound to CocoNautical, saying, “I walk my own path when it comes to modern music.  I just like what I like and let the rest take its course, I don't want to be boxed into others ideas of what’s cool.”

Signed to Fool’s Gold, he also recently collaborated with Brooklyn producer Sammy Banana and R&B singer BOSCO on the dancey retro track ‘Gitcha Gitcha’.
