Auckland collective Edge Kingsland have taken out the ‘Best Worship Album’ award at this year’s Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards.
The outfit won with their album ‘Edge Kingsland Vol. 3: The Common Good’.
They describe the album as a celebration of the everyday; writing on their Bandcamp that God is everywhere and in the mundane. They explain, “Our sacred songs then, become anthems of the ordinary. Tributes to the God of our working week; the one who greets us in the bustle and hustle.”
