Electronic duo Chores have been making waves in Auckland’s dance scene recently, and their latest single ‘Away’ features a familiar face.
Singer Omega Levine has teamed up with Chores for the dance track, which has already made it onto Spotify’s New Zealand Viral 50 chart.
It’s a Calvin Harris-eque bop, with sparse 808s and stabbing synths. Chores (made up of Thommy Simmons and Sam Saunders) have already opened for international acts including Peking Duk, A-Trak, and Basement Jaxx; and they seem to be onto a pretty good thing.
The duo recently played their first live show at Auckland Town Hall, and it looks like they’re just getting started.
