Aldous Harding: ‘Elation’

Lyttleton singer Aldous Harding has dropped a new single called ‘Elation’, and it’s a beauty.

The stripped back song features Harding’s voice prominently over delicate electric guitar, and it was recorded in Bristol during the sessions for her recent album ‘Party’.

It’s a tender ballad, reminiscent of vintage folk troubadours like Nico and Joan Baez; in a soft baroque style.

The singer is booked solidly until March on an international tour, but she’ll be back in the motherland in late November to play shows in Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington.
